From Bangkok to Ubon Ratchathani to Mukdaharn to Savannakhet

This is a small guide I prepared, as when I ws looking for information about how to go from Ubon Ratchathani to Mukdaharn to Savannakhet online, I could not find much. I hope it helps you!

We travelled for 8 hours in the Nakhonchai Air Bus on the way they served snack , drink, milk, rice and cold napkins included in the price .

We arrived in Ubon Ratchathani in the early morning.
Me and Luca were very tired but luckily the Sri – Isan hotel where we stay has free Wi-Fi, so we can relax and work in the room.
This time we plan to visit southern of Laos.

"Sabay Dee" Luang Prabang

Luang Prabang night market start from 5 p.m. - 10 p.m. everydayLuang Prabang March ,2007
Along the way from Vientiane to Luang Prabang by bus it’s such a long trip as it’s up and down and up and down the hills.
The narrow way on the hill doesn’t make me feel afraid but it made me more excited when I saw the village along the road with the simple houses made from wood and made me realize how simple life of the people on the hill.

Luang Prabang Monks and saam naehnI feel really excited because this is the first time I will be to Luang Prabang, the city of a beautiful temple and the city with lots of monks in the morning for putting rice for a happiness in our next life.
I start thinking if I’ll be there one day in the morning I will put the rice for their monks.

My favourite baguette sandwich in Vientiane!

Egg SandwichEgg Sandwich
It’s quite easy to eat good baguette sandwich in Laos but at the same time you may not be lucky and get not so fresh bread.

My favourite place it on the Mekong river : The Shade Restaurant.

The Club Sandwich that usually I order it just perfect ! it’s crispy and tasty and if you drink a mango shake then you will come back again for sure!

The prices for the baguettes go from 10,000 to 15,000 Gib (1 /1.50 U$)

Don’t worry if the waitress doesn’t smile. You will not even notice, lost in the baguette!

Location: I would not know the road, but it is close to the Hall of Lao culture. Ask around, Vientiane is a big village.

Cost: a portion goes for around 30.000 Kip (3 U$).
Don’t miss it!
